Cold month of January - by Nanay Jo

Its my first time to experience the coldest month here in Isla Verde.
All of us wear thicker clothes, but even if weather is cool the island is still so beautiful.

Work is still going in the cafe.  They have finished half
of the walls, and they are looking good.  The front arch over the door is made and the stained glass is in place.  The framed windows are in each side of the front door.  Inside the cafe is a post made like a giant Coke bottle.  Also, the roof is now on.  It looks like traditional red tiles.  More and more work will be going on as changes are made by my sister and Papa.

The surroundings are getting cleaner and bigger.  We keep planting more trees and flowers so the resort has more colour.  We bought another pair of birds, locally called, "bato-bato".

We started to clean the site for units for rent.  Randy does the grass cutting, and when the leaves get dried,  I used pitch fork to collect them and Angge burned them.  Very soon, the building of the first accommodation units will be started.
